Emerson Creek Pottery was founded in 1977 with the goal of creating functional art. They believe the ceramics you have in your home should be functional, beautiful and long lasting.

From mixing their tried and true stoneware clay, to making their own glazes and hand painting each design, they pride ourselves in a hands-on approach and execution of creating beautiful daily use pottery. Their studio is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains which serve as a continual presence and inspiration to our artisans. They are proudly American made and our botanical inspired designs and sustainable approach to creating has resulted in a quality product which is both beautiful and useful. All of the ceramics are lead and cadmium safe, microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe, and are made to be used over and over by anyone who appreciates beauty, American tradition, and function.
